Team 'Umar Sa1u'

    Competition in the month of November 2014 business campus Umar Usman is "Marketing Competition". Each group was given the task of marketing offline effort one of the members of the group. Time given for 2 weeks, and the capital of Rp 200,000 given as marketing capital for each group. Each group is free to determine the theme and how to market. Are allowed to use cash cost more but from each group itself. The winner will be determined from the amount of turnover that successfully changed from prior to the competition, creative ways of marketing, and video quality when present.

    A group of us were chosen to be made in the competition is "Lesehan Ketoprak Malam". Semi restaurant that sells a wide range of innovative Ketoprak products belonging Boss Sangga. Located in Kuta Bumi, Jl. Raya Tangerang - Banten.

After all capital distributed to each group, the first thing we do is discuss and determine the theme. After determining a theme, some members of the group immediately conduct a survey to be matched with a predetermined theme.
 



    In 2 weeks we perform surgical location, structure of sales, market segmentation, the environment, and some of the foods that will be added to attract more buyers. We added some design drawings on the walls, installing speakers, put the TV, and rearrange the position of the goods to make it look more presentable. We also provide some snacks and drinks promotions free for buyers to come. Among them: boiled peanuts, boiled cassava, ginger, coffee and sweet tea.




    After the renovation progress reached 95%, we have problems with the owner of the place and the people around that area. Were questioned about our activities which continued till late at night when decorating, Residents there have regulations which no longer runs up past activities from 24:00 hours. Eventually the problem was, we were not able to continue the Marketing Competition to complete ..


    Sense of disappointment and regret that so we feel when no longer able to continue this competition, but behind all that we still will not give up and keep trying to spirit of doing business.

The message we take from this is that: "In an attempt will surely find a lot of problems and unexpected obstacles. But we must keep the spirit and ready to rise and rise again until successful been achieved ".
